High-tech cleanroom for sensor production: JUMO GmbH & Co. KG relies on Vitec solution with cleanroom classes ISO 5 and ISO 7 in its new 'SENSILO' production facility
With the construction of ‘SENSILO’, JUMO GmbH & Co. KG has made the largest investment in its history to future-proof the production of temperature and pressure sensors. A central component of the new production site is a high-tech cleanroom that enables precise manufacturing under controlled conditions.
The cleanroom facility is especially tailored to the requirements of sensitive sensor production. Monoblock walls ensure a stable and low-particle environment, supplemented by a walkable ceiling (Viessmann RDE80) that allows maintenance work to be carried out from the plenum. Efficient ventilation technology with a ventilation system and FFUs (filter fan units) ensure that the strict ISO 7 cleanroom class is achieved and maintained.
In lithography, the ISO 5 cleanroom class according to EN 14644-1 is implemented.
Access to this highly sensitive area is ensured by electronically monitored airlock systems. The Vitec control module allows continuous adjustment of the dwell and recovery time in the airlocks at any time.
